As always, it was a very vibrant and pleasant evening, but not for Trishika. She was very exhausted by working the whole night just for her project to get completed, and after completing her work, she started dusting her clothes proudly as she was the only one working overnight on it and now that she was finally returning home as she was done with her work so she was feeling very jubilant.

Sitting on her chair, she sighed in relief "haahhhh."

"Finally, after a hectic day." she again sighed and started packing up her things.

Picking up her bag and laptop, she was about to leave when Akhil growled from his cabin and coming running to her, he said.

"Hey Trishika, can you do me a favour?" he asked in an authoritative yet pleading tone.

"Can I say no?" she questioned him back instead of answering, showing her puppy eyes which were having light dark circles due to working overnight.

"No you can't and anyways, take care of your face and especially your eyes, you are looking horrible." he mocked her, hitting on her forehead.

"You too, just look at yourself, how ugly you look." she too mocked him making faces, and rubbed her forehead to ease the pain.

"So now listen to me you have to—" Akhil started telling her but was cuff of by Trishika.

"Are you serious?? I have just finished all my work and now you are alloting me another work. I'm really very tired. I have not even eaten anything from yesterday." she said in frown.

"I know you are tired but this is more important. The Chair Person of our company is arriving and you have to go to pick him up, now." Akhil said in one go.

"Is it my work or yours?" she questioned folding her hands to her chest.

"I know this is my work but right now I have to attend an important meeting, and don't worry I will give you a treat if you do my work." saying the last line he winked at her while she rolled her eyes at him.

"Okay, okay I'm doing it, but don't forget about your treat!" she said pointing her index finger to him.

"Yes my Queen." he said dramatically.

"Shut up, stupid." saying this she left.

But soon, she was stopped by Akhil as he held the collar of her shirt  form behind and pulled her towards him.

"You are more stupid than me. At least take my car keys." he said lightly hitting on her forehead to which she made an irritated face and went inside his cabin.

As she entered his cabin, she took his car keys and left saying "I will take care of you tomorrow." and emphasised those two words 'take care'.

As soon as she reached the parking lot, in a brief time, she entered his car and drove off to the Delhi International Airport.

Trishika, she had a great bond with Akhil. They both were bestfriends. More than a best friend, she was like his little sister, as he was four years older than her, and as long as Akhil was with her, she had nothing to fear about.

Before meeting Akhil, she had a tragic incident happened in her past and due to that incident, from that day, she lost all her hope, her trust, her everything.

She started distancing herself from everyone, even from her parents. Her condition was getting very worse day by day and her father, Mr Sharma, was very concerned about her condition, so he hierd an psychiatrist for her, but she denied to meet the psychiatrist.

She could not digest, that whatever happened with her, was done by her close one's, those two persons, one who was her everything and loved him the most and the other whom she trusted the most. She even tried several times to suicide, but didn't succeed as she was not having enough courage to do it. Each and every time she tried, she failed miserably. After that incident, each passing day was getting difficult for Trishika, she could not live with the pain and betrayal which was buried inside her heart.

Nobody knew the reason behind Trishika's sadness and her silence. Nobody knew, why all of a sudden her smile faded. Nobody understood, why the girl who was with sweet and caring personality, used to be the happiest all the time, the girl who loved to be the reason for other people's smile and happiness suddenly became silent and changed her whole personality.

In the meantime, whenever she felt lonely, she often used to visit one orphanage, just to watch the children playing and smiling. Although she hated small kids, but still she visited the orphanage, and at some point it gave he peace watching the children laughing, playing and smiling, but still, that could not ease the pain inside her. She used to spend a lot of time in that orphanage, and there, she met Akhil.

He used to do a part time job there of cleaning, he worked in the same orphanage, in which he grew up. He had made a lot of memories in that orphanage, and just like Trishika, even he loved to watch the children playing and smiling. Whenever she was present there, he always wondered why she used to come there all the time, so one day, he approached her and asked the reason behind her visiting to the orphanage often.

At first she hesitated to tell and ignored him, but when he insisted to know, she told him everything as she found him very honest and kind. And soon after a couple of weeks later, they both became bestfriends because whenever she visited the orphanage, she always used to talk to him, and spent alot of time with him and since, after the tragic incident, she never smiled nor she laughed,but, he was the first person to make her laugh. And form that day onwards, Akhil never gave a chance for her to be in sorrow or lonely, he never ever gave a chance to let her remember her past.

And that's where, her father, Mr Sharma was ecstatic for his daughter. Mr Sharma had seen the happiness in her eyes whenever she used to be with Akhil, she was the happiest whenever Akhil was with her, so Mr Sharma asked Akhil to join his company, so that he could also help Akhil with his financial situation, and after some time he was adopted by the Mehra's.

Mehra's family was the richest some years ago, but because of their partner's betrayal, everything was ruined and snachted away from them, and even, the heir of Mehra's family passed away at an early age due to cancer. And after a huge loss, they lost their position of being the richest. All they could do was to sell whatever they had along with their properties, and live a normal life, and because Mrs Mehra couldn't bear the pain of loosing her only child, Mr Satish Mehra decided to adopt a child. That is how Akhil was adopted and got rid of living without parents after so many years.

As she arrived at the Delhi International airport, she parked the vehicle and headed towards the entry side of the airport.

She had no idea who was the chair person, and because of that, she was not able to understand how to find that person. And even Akhil did not tell her or give any hint to recognise that person, so she called him, and after a few rings, he answered the call.

"Hey, you dumbo!! How to recognise that person now? How will I know who that person is ?" As soon as the call was answered, she babbled things to Akhil.

"Calm down yaar, he will be there in the VIP waiting area." he responded claiming her down.

"Couldn't you tell me this before?" she questioned him back.

"I received his text just a few minutes before." he replied.

"Ha ha okay okay." saying this she disconnected the call and started scearching for the VIP waiting area.

As she was scearching, she did not notice the person coming from front and bumped into him and the Starbucks coffee which was in his hand was spilled on the floor.

"I'm really sorry Mr, i was not paying attention to my surroundings. I'm really sorry. Don't worry I'll compensate." she said apologising.
